Are there other governmental approvals for G96 Products?
G96 was approved by the Canadian Police Research Centre for use by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for use in cold weather in November of 1995. You may view the results of Report TR-01-97: Evaluation of Gun Lubricant Operation at Low Temperatures.
Can G96 Synthetic CLP be used in applications other than firearms?
Yes. Synthetic CLP Gun Oil may be used in many other areas such as crossbows, fishing reels, locks, marine applications, bearings, and more.

Who performed the military testing for G96?
The testing was performed by ARDEC (Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center) — only ARDEC can certify and perform a live fire test for the MIL-PRF-63460 specification. These were not performed by an independent laboratory.
What military specification does the Synthetic CLP meet?
G96 Synthetic CLP Gun Oil and Rifle Bore Cleaner meets MIL-PRF-63460F (Type A traditional and Type B bio-based) and MIL-PRF-372F (Type A traditional – non-bio-based). These specifications assure our products meet or exceed the newest Military Standards.
What are the test criteria for the CLP military approval?
Test criteria included: Severe Cold Weather, Sandy and Dusty Environments, Salt Spray Corrosion Protection, High Humidity, Firing Residue Removal, Corrosion Protection from Propellant Reaction Products, and live fire tests on M249 machine guns.
What did the U.S. Military say about G96 CLP?
